Special Events
Each year, the Urban League of
Metropolitan St. Louis organizes and conducts special events to
recognize achievement, gather community for social interaction and raise
funds and support for scholarships and programs.
The Annual Dinner is our annual celebration and our
annual report to the community. The event reports accomplishments,
outlines future direction and recognizes the achievement of volunteers,
outstanding businesses, community leaders, program sponsors, affiliates,
partners and staff members.
The Annual Golf Tournament benefits social service
programs and advocacy initiatives. This Urban League fundraising event
provides an opportunity for businesses and other leaders in the
community to meet and participate in a great day of golf, lunch, dinner,
prizes and a silent auction.
The Ebony Fashion Fair is an annual event that has
generated scholarships funds of more than $500,000 to more than 550
local students.
The goal of the Vaughn Cultural Center is to promote
awareness of African American history and culture through exhibits,
story telling and special programs. Click
