HUD Housing Counseling
The HUD-Certified Housing Counseling Program of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis offers experienced counseling and training.
The program is comprehensive and experienced in addressing resident’s housing needs in:
understanding the home-buying process
finding solutions to missed mortgage or rent payment
saving homes from foreclosure
preventing eviction
learning about options to solve other housing issue
learning about options to solve other housing issues.
Eligibility
The Urban League provides HUD certified housing counseling to:
Low income residents in the St. Louis metropolitan region interested in pre- and post-home purchase issues,
Homeowners seeking alternatives to home foreclosure, and
Individuals and/or families who may have experienced unfair or discriminatory housing practices.
