The Vaughn Cultural Center (VCC) is a cultural venue in the St. Louis African American community devoted to the display of African American artistic, cultural and historical materials.
The goal of the VCC is to promote awareness of African American history and culture through exhibits, story telling and special programs.
The VCC highlights include:
Established in 1979 with funds donated by Mrs. Ermaline Vaughn in memory of her husband Dr. Arthur Vaughn, the VCC is located in Grand Arts District at the Urban League Headquarters and is supported by Regional Arts Commission.
The VCC is open five days a week from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and admission is free of charge
